The manager of quality control (QC) is in charge of making sure that every manufactured good satisfies the strictest requirements for performance, dependability, and safety. You will supervise every step of the inspection process, from the arrival of raw materials to the shipment of the finished product, guaranteeing our clients receive deliveries free of defects. Your position requires a thorough understanding of manufacturing specifications and regulatory requirements since it combines technical audits, team leadership, and process improvement. The ideal applicant is a meticulous thinker who can oversee laboratory
operations, put strong testing procedures into place, and spearhead projects for continual improvement to uphold the company's stellar image.
Key Skills:
Technical expertise includes interpreting intricate engineering designs and being an expert in geometric dimensioning and tolerance, or GD&T.
Analytical Tools: Six Sigma techniques (Green/Black Belt desirable) and proficiency with Minitab or MS Excel for data analysis.
Lead auditor certification for ISO 9001 or other pertinent industry standards is one of the audit skills.
Communication: The capacity to negotiate quality standards with clients and vendors and deliver technical quality reports to senior leadership.
