Designing, creating, and managing the production of mechanical systems and equipment are within the purview of the mechanical engineer. From designing intricate machinery and running thermal or structural simulations to overseeing the actual assembly and testing of prototypes, your responsibilities include every stage of the product lifecycle. Working with cross-functional teams, you will make sure that designs are not only safe and practical but also optimized for mass manufacturing and cost effectiveness.
A creative problem-solver with a strong background in materials science, physics, and sophisticated CAD/CAE tools is the perfect applicant.
Key Skills:
Advanced knowledge of SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, CATIA, or Creo is required for CAD/CAM proficiency.
Analytical Software: Proficiency in engineering simulations using ANSYS, Abaqus, or MATLAB.
Technical Standards: Extensive familiarity with ASTM, ISO, or ASME standards.
Solving problems: The capacity to use scientific concepts and mathematical formulas to resolve challenging engineering problems.
