Mechanical Engineer Integrating Phrases into Products
Job Description
Duties:
Design & Conceptualization: Use CAD software to create 2D technical drawings and 3D models for mechanical parts and assemblies.
Analysis & Simulation: To model how designs will respond to real-world factors like heat, vibration, and stress, use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD).
Prototyping: Manage the creation of prototypes and carry out thorough testing to confirm design hypotheses and pinpoint weak points.
Material Selection: Examine and choose the best materials based on characteristics such as corrosion resistance, tensile strength, and thermal conductivity.
Manufacturing Support: Work together with production teams to create manufacturing procedures,
such as assembly lines and tool designs.
Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Take the lead in RCA for mechanical problems and make design changes to stop them from happening again.
Focus Skills:
Technical Software: Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Autodesk Inventor.
Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and structural analysis
Expertise in interpreting intricate engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is required for blueprint reading.
Communication: The capacity to clarify difficult technical ideas for clients and stakeholders who are not engineers.
