Job Description:
Overseeing the day-to-day activities of the maintenance department in a manufacturing facility is the responsibility of the Maintenance Supervisor, a leadership position. Leading a group of experts and artisans to guarantee the dependability and security of all production equipment and plant infrastructure is your main responsibility. As the liaison between the engineering manager and the shop floor, you oversee external contractors, coordinate work orders, and make sure that all repairs are completed quickly and accurately. A hands-on leader with strong technical background who can strike a balance between long-term preventive maintenance planning and urgent breakdown management is the perfect applicant.
Key Duties
Team Leadership & Scheduling: Oversee, instruct, and guide
a group of electrical and mechanical technicians while allocating daily tasks and controlling shift changes.
Work Order Management: Use a CMMS to prioritize and supervise the completion of all maintenance jobs, making sure that everything is done on schedule and properly recorded.
Lead the technical response during significant equipment failures and offer advanced troubleshooting assistance to reduce Mean Time To Repair.
Preventive maintenance oversight involves conducting quality audits on finished maintenance jobs to avoid rework and making sure the PM schedule is adhered to.
Ensure that all technicians wear the proper PPE and adhere to Lockout-Tagout protocols in order to promote a "Safety First" culture.
