Maintenance Engineer Where Wisdom and Precision Clash
Job Description
Who you are:
Plan and carry out regular maintenance and inspections to stop equipment failure before it happens. When a machine breaks down, take the lead in diagnosing and fixing the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to promptly resume production. Use techniques like "5 Whys" or "Ishikawa Diagrams" to investigate recurring equipment failures and put permanent corrective measures in place. Keep an inventory of essential consumables and spares to guarantee availability and minimize inventory expenses. Work with outside service providers to arrange equipment installs, AMC, and specialist repairs. Manage the upkeep of the plant's utilities,
such as the air compressors, boilers, chillers, DG sets, and electrical substations. Verify that all equipment satisfies safety requirements and complies with OHS and environmental laws.
