MIG Welder Supplying Exceptional Manufacture
Job Description
Using semi-automatic welding equipment, the MIG (Metal Inert Gas) Welder, sometimes referred to as a GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) Specialist, is in charge of combining metal components. Creating strong, neat, and structurally sound welds on a variety of materials mostly carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum is your main goal. It is your responsibility as the "fusion expert" to balance the wire feed speed, voltage, and gas flow in order to generate visually appealing "bead" profiles and deep penetration. A steady-handed professional with a strong grasp of welding symbols and plans who takes pride in structural integrity is the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities
Welding Operations: In accordance with project specifications, perform superior MIG welds in a variety of positions (Flat, Horizontal, Vertical, and Overhead).
Machine Calibration: Configure and modify welding machines for varying metal thicknesses, taking into account wire feed speed, voltage, and shielding gas flow rates (CO2, Argon, or Blends).
Surface Preparation: To

guarantee a contaminant-free welding surface and avoid porosity, clean and prepare workpieces by brushing, grinding, or degreasing.
Blueprint & Symbol Reading: Determine the weld size, kind (Fillet, Butt, Groove), and position by interpreting engineering drawings and welding symbols.
Fit-up & Tacking: Use jigs, clamps, and squares to align components; before final welding, use "tack welds" to lock parts in place.
Quality Inspection: Examine completed welds visually to find and fix flaws like undercut, overlap, spatter, or cracks.

Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Understanding of GMAW processes and knowledge of various wire types (flux-cored vs. solid wire).
Hand-Eye Coordination: Superior steady-hand control to sustain constant travel speed and arc length.
Ability to check dimensions with tape measures, squares, and weld gauges.
Material Knowledge: Being aware of the melting points and thermal characteristics of stainless steel, aluminum, and steel.

We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
