The primary duty of a MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welder is to precisely join metal components. Converting disparate steel or alloy components into a single, robust, and finished construction is the primary goal of this role. The welder is in charge of laying down clean, long-lasting beads, selecting the appropriate wire and gas mix, and setting up the welding machine. For the production run to maintain a high-quality, dependable standard free from flaws, precise heat management and steady movement are necessary.

Key Skills:
Welding Proficiency: A thorough understanding of MIG/GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) methods for various materials, such as aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel.
Blueprint Reading: The ability to understand and follow complex welding symbols and technical drawings.
Accurate Measurement: Able to make sure parts are attached at the precise angles needed using calipers, squares, and tape measures.
Physical stamina: The capacity to operate in heated conditions and hold a steady hand for extended periods of time during a production batch.
