Your Duties:
Welding Operations: Apply superior MIG welding to components of different thicknesses in a variety of situations.
Machine Setup: Depending on the kind and thickness of the material, calibrate the welding equipment by modifying the voltage, wire feed speed, and shielding gas flow.
Blueprint Interpretation: To ascertain the necessary weld size, type, and position, read and comprehend technical drawings, weld symbols, and work orders.
Material Preparation: Use clamps and jigs to guarantee correct fit and alignment; clean, grind, and prepare metal surfaces to remove paint, scale, and
rust.
Quality Control: Examine completed welds visually to find and fix flaws such porosity, undercut, or lack of fusion.
Equipment Maintenance: Keep your workspace tidy and orderly and replace contact tips, nozzles, and liners on welding torches as part of periodic maintenance.
