Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of warehouse operations in Chennai, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
Ensure accurate and timely receipt of incoming materials
and finished goods, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery documents.
Manage inventory control processes, including regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including loaders, packers, and forklift operators.
Qualification:
Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal) in English and preferably Tamil.
Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
