Lead Product Innovation Assistant Manager in NPD Wanted
Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Assistant Manager to join our New Product Development (NPD) team in Chennai. You will play a crucial role in managing and executing NPD projects from concept to launch within our manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of product development processes, project management skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Assist in the identification and evaluation of new product ideas and market opportunities relevant to our manufacturing capabilities and target market in India.
Contribute to the development of new product concepts, specifications, and feasibility studies.
Manage and execute NPD projects according to established timelines, budgets,
and quality standards.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, manufacturing, quality, and marketing, to ensure seamless project execution.
Develop and maintain project plans, track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Skills:
Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and methodologies.
Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling projects.
Technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes and materials relevant to our industry.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Educational Qualification: Any BE Degree
Experience: 5+ yrs
