Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced VMC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of VMC operations, programming, and maintenance. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Vertical Machining Centers to produce high-quality components according to specifications.
Responsibilities
Install and run Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) to carry out a range of milling tasks.
Fill VMCs with materials and workpieces, then
unload them.
CNC programs can be loaded and run through machine control panels.
Make small changes and revisions to CNC programs (G-code) as necessary.
Clean, lubricate, and make small repairs as part of your regular VMC maintenance.
Inform the supervisor of any safety risks or equipment failures.
