Job Description
Duties:
Installation: Make sure all connections are electrically sound and leak-proof while setting up and commissioning new HVAC systems, such as split ACs, VRFs, AHUs, and ducting.
Maintenance: To avoid malfunctions, do regular checks that include lubricating motors, cleaning coils, changing filters, and monitoring refrigerant levels.
Troubleshooting: Use electrical multimeters and pressure gauges to identify issues with compressors, thermostats, capacitors, and blower motors.
Refrigerant management is the safe recovery, evacuation, and charging of refrigerants in accordance with "EPA" standards and environmental regulations.
Electrical diagnostics: Examine and decipher wire schematics to identify issues with contactors, sensors, and control boards.
Airflow Optimization: To
guarantee uniform heating and cooling throughout all zones and to avoid "hot spots," measure and balance airflow in duct systems.
Emergency Response: During busy times, provide consumers with quick repair services to restore vital heating or cooling.
Focus Skills:
Strong grasp of electrical control logic and the "Refrigeration Cycle" characterizes technical proficiency.
Tool Mastery: Proficient use of oxy-acetylene torches for brazing, manifold gauges, vacuum pumps, and leak detectors.
Physical Agility: The capacity to perform tasks in a variety of weather conditions, at heights (rooftops), and in cramped areas (crawl spaces).
Certifications: Refrigerant handling licenses and familiarity with local mechanical codes.
