Supplier Quality Engineer
Job description :
Key Responsibilities: Cables, Copper commodity, Wind Mill Generator Stator & Rotor Winding Qualification & Validation:
• Review supplier documentation including test certificates, specifications, and compliance reports.
• Participate in the qualification process for new cable types and alternate cable proposals & copper commodity.
• Validate cables as per industry standards (IEC, UL, VDE, etc.) and internal specifications.
• Wind Mill Generator Stator & Rotor Winding Qualification & Validation
Supplier Quality Management:
• Conduct supplier audits and process assessments with a focus on electrical commodity
• Support the selection, onboarding, and development of suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and manage improvement plans where necessary.
Technical Support:
• Act as a technical quality interface between internal engineering teams and suppliers. Provide input on drawings, BOM reviews, and specification alignment for cable-related components.
•
Work with engineering to support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for field or production issues related to cables.
Compliance & Documentation:
• Ensure supplier documentation is in place (RoHS, REACH, CE declarations, etc.).
• Maintain quality records related to qualifications and supplier approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform incoming inspection and verification of raw materials and bought-out parts
Identify non-conformances and initiate NCRs
Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions
Maintain quality documentation and inspection records
Coordinate with suppliers and internal cross-functional teams
Support continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives
