Job Description
Duties:
Installation & Wiring: Make sure that work is done in compliance with applicable codes while installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Diagnostics and troubleshooting: To find and address electrical issues in circuits and machinery, use testing tools like oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and multimeters.
Preventive maintenance involves examining electrical systems, machinery, and parts to find risks, flaws, or areas that need to be adjusted or repaired in order to stop system breakdowns.
Blueprint Reading: To comprehend the design of current systems or plan new installations, read and analyze technical diagrams, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
Repair: Replace malfunctioning parts such fuses, switches, circuit
breakers, and motors; fix electrical generators and motors as necessary.
Safety Compliance: Make sure that all work conforms with local or national electrical codes and adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO.
Focus Skills:
Technical Proficiency: A solid grasp of power distribution, electronics, and electrical theory.
Tool Mastery: The ability to operate electrical testing equipment and hand and power tools (such as drills, conduit benders, and wire strippers) with skill.
Physical agility is the capacity to stand for extended periods of time, operate in cramped areas, and climb ladders.
Attention to Detail: Accurate wiring and the capacity to discern colors in systems with color coding.
