Job Description
The "Technical Ambassador" of the business, the service engineer is in charge of installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery at client locations. Ensuring optimum equipment uptime and client satisfaction following a sale is your main goal. As the "Field Problem Solver," you serve as a liaison between the end-user's facility and the production plant. A highly mobile, hands-on technician who can independently diagnose complicated mechanical, electrical, and software problems while retaining a professional rapport with clients is the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities
Installation and Commissioning: Oversee the on-site configuration of new equipment, making sure it satisfies all performance requirements and is integrated into the customer's production line.
Maintenance: Conduct planned maintenance visits to find wear and tear before it causes a malfunction, increasing the equipment's lifespan.
Troubleshooting: Identify the primary causes of failure by quickly responding to emergency service calls utilizing diagnostic tools and technical documents.
Customer Training: Provide "Hands-on" instruction

on safe machine operation and basic daily maintenance to the customer's operators and maintenance personnel.
Spare Parts Management: Determine and suggest replacement parts that are required for repairs; help clients keep an essential "On-site Spare Parts Kit."
Reporting: Write thorough service reports for each visit, detailing the tasks completed, items swapped out, and suggestions for future enhancements.

Skills:
Multidisciplinary Expertise: Able to interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic/pneumatic circuit diagrams, and mechanical designs.
PLC & Automation Knowledge: The capacity to use PLC interfaces (such as those from Siemens and Allen Bradley) for basic program modifications and error-code diagnosis.
Soft Skills & Diplomacy: Outstanding communication abilities to deal with irate clients during critical machine outages.
Independence: The capacity to operate independently and with little supervision in remote areas.
Physical stamina: the ability to handle large tools or components, travel frequently, and work in industrial settings.
