Join a Growing Emerging Operation Service Engineer
Job Description
Duties:
Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation and integration of new equipment at client locations, making sure that all software, mechanical, and electrical configurations adhere to manufacturer requirements.
On-Site Troubleshooting: To promptly restore production for the client, identify and fix complicated technical issues, such as mechanical wear or PLC logic faults.
Preventive Maintenance (PM) Contracts: In accordance with Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), carry out planned service visits, replacing parts, deep cleaning, and lubricating in order to avert future malfunctions.
Technical Training: Provide practical instruction on correct usage and fundamental troubleshooting to the client's internal maintenance
staff and machine operators.
Spare Parts Management: Determine necessary spare parts during service visits, give clients cost estimates, and work with the logistics team to ensure prompt delivery.
Focus Skills:
Multi-Skilled Proficiency: Practical knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical assembly, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Automation Literacy: Ability to interface with PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs for diagnostic purposes.
Diagnostic Tools: Proficiency with thermal cameras, laser alignment tools, dial indicators, and multimeters.
Soft abilities: Outstanding communication and patience abilities to manage anxious customers during production stops.
