Job Description
Duties:
Circuit Design and Prototyping: Use CAD tools to design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits; construct and test prototypes to confirm hardware operation.
PCB Layout & Development: Using programs like Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad, create multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB) layouts that guarantee signal integrity and temperature control.
Embedded Systems Integration: Choose the right microcontrollers (ARM, AVR, PIC) and peripherals; work with software engineers to integrate firmware with hardware.
Testing and Validation: To troubleshoot hardware and make sure performance satisfies requirements, use oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
Component Selection and BOM: Keep an accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and source electronic components based on availability, cost, and performance.
EMI/EMC Compliance: To
