Job Description
Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and components is the responsibility of the hands-on technical specialist known as an electrical technician. Ensuring the uninterrupted and secure supply of power to a facility's infrastructure, lights, and machinery is your main responsibility. You are in charge of converting technical blueprints into actual, working wire, making you the "first responder" for electrical problems. The ideal applicant is a safety-conscious professional with the ability to precisely operate a control panel, diagnose motor problems, and carry out preventive maintenance to minimize expensive downtime.

Responsibilities
Installation & Wiring: In accordance with local codes and technical drawings, install electrical panels, outlets, and lighting fixtures, as well as lay conduits and pull wires.
Troubleshooting and Repair: Use diagnostic tools to find and address electrical issues with motors, contactors, relays, and switches.
Motor and Drive Maintenance: Examine and fix AC/DC motors, including variable frequency drive

parameter adjustments, bearing inspections, and brush replacements.
Maintenance: To spot indications of wear or overheating, perform routine examinations of transformers, distribution boards, and battery banks.
Control Circuitry: Put together and diagnose control circuits for automated machines, such as limit switches, sensors, and timers.
Safety Compliance: To guarantee a zero-accident environment, strictly follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) procedures before beginning any repair work.
Schematic Reading: To identify problems in intricate electrical systems, decipher ladder logic diagrams and one-line diagrams (SLDs).

Skills:
Proficiency with earth testers, clamp meters, multimeters, and insulation testers (Meggers).
Technical Dexterity: Able to mount parts on DIN rails, solder, crimp, and strip wire.
The ability to read and comprehend electrical symbols and circuit layouts.
Physical stamina: the ability to work in cramped areas, electrical rooms, and at heights (ladders, lifts).
