Responsibilities:
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: To reduce unplanned malfunctions, create and implement a comprehensive Scheduled Maintenance program.
Breakdown Resolution: To reduce MTTR, oversee the quick diagnosis and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems during machine failures.
Root Cause Analysis: To create long-term engineering solutions, conduct in-depth investigations into recurrent failures utilizing 5-Why or Fishbone analysis.
Spare Parts Management: To guarantee prompt availability in an emergency, keep a vital stock of high-mortality parts.
TPM Implementation: Promote Total Productive Maintenance programs and
educate shop floor workers on "Autonomous Maintenance" to maintain lubricated and clean machinery.
PLC & Automation Support: To maximize machine performance, troubleshoot and adjust PLC programming and VFD settings.
Condition Monitoring: To identify any faults before they happen, use cutting-edge instruments like vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and ultrasonic testing.
Required Skills:
Multidisciplinary Technicality: Excellent knowledge of automation (sensors, PLCs), electrical (circuitry, motors), and mechanical (gears, bearings).
Blueprint reading: The capacity to decipher intricate mechanical assembly blueprints, hydraulic circuits, and electrical schematics.
Problem solving: A methodical, logical technique to identifying sporadic technological issues.
Software Proficiency: Knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle, as well as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
