Job in Highly Accurate Production with a CNC Operator
Job Description
An expert precision machinist, the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator is in charge of running automated manufacturing and diagnostic machinery. Your main goal is to convert raw materials (wood, plastic, or metal) into completed components that adhere to precise engineering standards. You serve as the vital link between digital design and actual production, guaranteeing "zero-defect" quality and maximum machine efficiency. A meticulous professional with a high mechanical aptitude, the capacity to decipher intricate plans, and a dedication to strict safety regulations is the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities:
Machine Setup & Operation: To carry out operations like drilling, grinding, and milling, set up and run CNC machines (lathes, mills, routers, or grinders).
Blueprint Reading: Analyze technical drawings and blueprints to comprehend the measurements, tolerances, and operation sequences needed for each component.
Tooling and Loading: Choose and install the appropriate cutting tools, accessories, and attachments; manually or with the use of hoists,
load raw materials into the machines.
Quality Inspection: To confirm that completed items fulfill specifications, use precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and go/no-go gauges.
Machine Monitoring: Keep an eye on how the machine is operating to see any issues or out-of-tolerance machining; make any necessary adjustments to the tool offsets or machine controls.
Deburring and Finishing: After the machining process is finished, carry out secondary tasks including burr removal, polishing, or part cleaning.
Skills:
Mechanical aptitude: Comfort with power tools and a solid grasp of how machines operate.
Mathematical Proficiency: The capacity to calculate part measurements and offsets using basic geometry and trigonometry.
Attention to Detail: The capacity to operate within tolerances as fine as ±0.001mm is crucial.
Stamina: The capacity to move large objects and stand for extended periods of time on a shop floor while adhering to safety regulations.
We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
