Job Description
Experience: 2 to 4 yrs
Salary: Based on Company Norms
Education: Diploma/BE in E&I
Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Installation Verification: Compare authorized drawings with actual electrical and instrumentation work, such as cable tray routing, glanding, termination, and instrument mounting.
Material Receiving Inspection (MRI): Check for damage or non-compliance and confirm that all incoming E&I materials (cables, transmitters, switchgear) meet the Purchase Order (PO) and Material Test Reports (MTR).
Testing & Observation: To guarantee circuit integrity, observe crucial tests like continuity, high potential (Hi-Pot), and insulation resistance (meggering).
Loop Folder Review: Before commissioning, make sure all calibration
certifications, P&ID check sheets, and loop diagrams are accurately documented by checking "Loop Folders" for accuracy.
Hazardous Area Inspection: Examine "Ex" rated equipment in explosive environments to make sure flameproof (Ex d) or intrinsically safe (Ex i) safeguards are installed and maintained correctly.
