Implement World Standards as a Quality Engineer
Job Description
Duties:
Lead the quality planning for new product releases using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), making sure that all quality gates and client needs are fulfilled.
Risk management: To find possible manufacturing process failure sites and put preventive controls in place, facilitate Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
Statistical Process Control (SPC): To identify process changes in real time, implement and keep an eye on control charts on the shop floor.
Root Cause Analysis & CAPA: Use 8D or 5-Why techniques to lead the inquiry into complicated quality issues and carry out Corrective and Preventive Actions.
Supplier Quality Management: Conduct supplier audits and oversee the Production Part Approval
Process for incoming raw materials and components.
Customer Liaison: Manage RMAs, ensure that customer specifications are communicated to the floor, and serve as the main point of contact for customer quality complaints.
Focus Skills:
Engineering Principles: Good knowledge of mechanical manufacturing procedures and GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
Analytical Tools: Mastery of Minitab, JMP, or advanced Excel for statistical data analysis.
Standards Compliance: In-depth familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (Automotive), or ISO 13485 (Medical).
Communication: Ability to deliver complicated data to management and lead cross-functional teams.
