Job Description
Duties:
Quality Planning (APQP/PPAP): Oversee the creation of Production Part Approval procedure (PPAP) documentation as well as the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) procedure for new product launches.
Risk management (FMEA): To identify possible risks in the production process and put preventative controls in place, perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
Statistical Process Control (SPC): Examine control charts to identify patterns before they lead to non-conformities; use statistical methods to track process capability and stability.
Root Cause Analysis (CAPA): Use 8D, 5-Why, or Fishbone approaches to conduct investigations into internal and external quality failures
in order to carry out Corrective and Preventive Actions.
Auditing for quality: To guarantee compliance with QMS (Quality Management System) standards and client-specific needs, conduct routine internal process and system audits.
Focus Skills:
Technical Mastery: in-depth familiarity with essential quality tools.
Blueprint reading: Proficiency in deciphering GD&T symbols and engineering drawings.
Analytical Software: Mastery of advanced MS Excel, JMP, or Minitab for statistical analysis and data modeling.
Strong logical reasoning to deal with intricate production variances is necessary for problem solving.
