Immediate Hiring Senior Technicians in Electronics
Job Description
Advanced assembly, diagnostic testing, and repair of intricate electronic systems fall within the purview of the Senior Electronics Technician, a high-level technical lead. You go above and beyond routine maintenance in this position, taking the initiative to investigate systemic hardware malfunctions and assist engineers in creating complex prototypes. You serve as a liaison between the engineering design team and the factory floor, making sure that junior technicians are trained in best practices and that technical standards are upheld. The ideal applicant is a bench-work specialist who is proficient in circuit analysis, soldering, and using sophisticated diagnostic equipment.
Responsibilities
Complex Troubleshooting: Take the lead in identifying complex issues that junior employees are unable to fix in multi-layer PCBs and system-level circuits.
Advanced Rework & Repair: Execute high-precision soldering and desoldering of fine-pitch components (BGA, QFN) and execute delicate traces/pad repairs under a microscope.
Prototype Development: Construct, wire, and test "Alpha" and "Beta" hardware prototypes in close collaboration
with engineers, offering input on design defects and manufacturability.
Advanced Instrumentation: Make use of and calibrate a variety of test tools, such as thermal imaging cameras, digital oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
Mentoring and Training: Supervise and instruct junior technicians on ESD safety procedures, IPC-A-610 soldering standards, and efficient diagnostic techniques.
Test Fixture Design: To expedite production-line quality checks, design and install specialized test jigs and automated test equipment (ATE).
Skills:
Technical Mastery: Proficiency in power supply, analog/digital circuits, and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART).
Soldering expertise includes mastery of IPC soldering and rework standards as well as the capacity to precisely handle tiny components.
Analytical Reasoning: Capable of tracking signals via intricate schematics and determining the "root cause" of sporadic malfunctions.
Documentation: The ability to keep technical logs and use specialized tools for PCB viewing or circuit simulation.
We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
