Immediate Hiring! PED Engineer in Injection Moulding
Job Description
Duties:
Process Design & Optimization: To guarantee a reliable and repeatable manufacturing window, establish and record scientific molding procedures.
Mould Trial Leadership: Oversee T0 through T-Final trials for new molds; evaluate trial results to suggest process or tool changes.
Cycle Time Reduction: To cut cycle times by seconds without sacrificing part quality, perform time-motion studies and examine machine kinematics.
Automation and Tooling Integration: Create and deploy robot end-of-arm tooling and incorporate auxiliary devices such as slide core controllers or unscrewing units.
Mould Flow Analysis: Make sure the mold design is ideal before steel is cut by using simulation software to forecast filling patterns, weld lines, and any air
traps.
Process validation: Create and carry out processes for installation, operation, and performance qualification, particularly for automotive or medical items.
Focus Skills:
Proficiency in decoupled molding methods and viscosity curve analysis are essential for scientific molding.
Proficiency with software: Moldflow, SolidWorks, or UG NX are expertly used; knowledge of RJG eDART systems is advantageous.
Deep knowledge of crystalline versus amorphous resins, as well as how they react to heat and shear, is known as polymer science.
Advanced proficiency in using DOE (Design of Experiments) to resolve intricate dimensions or aesthetic problems is a hallmark of problem solving.
