Job Description
Who you are:
Use power and hand tools to precisely shape and fit metal components to technical standards. To comprehend the assembly procedure and necessary tolerances, interpret mechanical blueprints and technical illustrations. Verify the precision of items down to the millimeter by using measuring tools including height gauges, micrometers, and vernier calipers. Assembling and aligning motors, shafts, gears, and pulleys; making sure all moving parts are properly lubricated and fastened. Replace worn-out bearings, seals, or gaskets by disassembling malfunctioning equipment and performing preventative maintenance on industrial gear. Prior to cutting or drilling, mark
workpieces using dividers, scribers, and punches according to the given layout. To secure assemblies, use a variety of fastening techniques, including as bolting, riveting, and simple welding/brazing.
