Job Description
Responsibilities:
Create and put into action a thorough Quality Control (QC) plan that is in line with the overarching company goals and quality standards pertinent to our Chennai manufacturing operations and the target markets.
Utilise statistical process control (SPC) and other pertinent approaches to analyse quality data in order to spot trends, track process capabilities, and support efforts for continuous improvement in our Chennai production lines.
In order to guarantee measurement accuracy and dependability, oversee and manage the calibration program for all quality control and testing apparatus utilised in our Chennai activities.
With an emphasis on local vendors in Chennai, oversee the quality control facets of supplier management, such as creating quality standards for commodities acquired and assessing supplier
performance.
Skills:
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities to engage with external stakeholders and all organisational levels in Chennai.
comprehensive knowledge of the applicable Tamil Nadu-specific laws, regulations, and quality standards in India that are pertinent to manufacturing.
strong knowledge of Chennai's manufacturing ecosystem and quality management procedures used by local suppliers.
