Job Description
To oversee our procurement activities in the manufacturing industry, we are looking for a highly strategic and seasoned Head of Purchase Department. You will be in charge of managing all purchasing operations, creating strong supply chain plans, and reducing costs while making sure that the premium goods and services needed for our manufacturing are available on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with company goals, identifying new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and optimizing terms to achieve cost savings and improve quality.
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage the purchasing team, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring
continuous professional development.
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers, overseeing supplier performance, conducting regular reviews, and managing vendor agreements.
Inventory & Cost Optimization: Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize holding costs while ensuring uninterrupted supply. Drive initiatives for cost reduction, value analysis, and process improvements within the purchasing function.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
