Responsibilities:
Installing and commissioning: Set up cable trays, conduits, and electrical wiring in addition to delicate equipment such level transmitters, temperature sensors, and flow meters.
Calibration and Testing: Use specialist testing equipment to perform routine calibration of instruments to guarantee measurement accuracy within predetermined limits.
Electrical Maintenance: Diagnose and fix electrical parts, such as lighting systems, contactors, VFDs, and MCC panels.
Instrument Loop Checking: Test the loops to make sure signals are sent to the Control Room from the field instruments accurately.
/>Help with PLC and Control System Support: Find and replace malfunctioning I/O cards, make sure control circuits are properly grounded, and assist with PLC cabinet maintenance.
Preventive maintenance (PM): Complete planned maintenance to keep vital systems like fire and gas detection systems and emergency shutdown valves from experiencing unplanned failures.
Required Skills:
Technical Versatility: The capacity to read and comprehend Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) as well as Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
Tool Proficiency: Practical knowledge of soldering tools, calibrators, and insulation testers (Megger).
