Job Description
Experience: 3 to 6 yrs
Salary: Based on Company Norms
Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Tooling Development & Management: Manage the mold fabrication schedule with outside tool rooms; examine mold designs (DFM) to make sure they are optimum for cooling, ejection, and gate placement.
Scientific Moulding & Process Development: Use the concepts of scientific moulding (viscosity curves, cavity balancing, pressure drop studies) to establish the first "Master Process".
Equipment & Automation Integration: Conveyors, robotic End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT), and specialty cooling fixtures are examples of auxiliary equipment that can be designed or chosen.
Cycle Time Optimization: Reduce
"dry cycle" time by analyzing the molding cycle, and maximize throughput without sacrificing part quality by optimizing cooling phases.
DFM & Mold Flow Analysis: Using Mold Flow simulation data, work with product designers to propose modifications that avoid flaws like gas traps or weld lines.
