Responsibilities:
Site Inspection & Testing: Verify that raw materials, manufactured parts, and finished assemblies adhere to authorized shop drawings and specifications by conducting on-site inspections.
Implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS): Ensure that all operations comply with ISO 9001 or industry-specific requirements by upholding and enforcing the site-specific Quality Plan.
Documentation & Records: Create and oversee the Project Quality Records (PQR), which include Final Handover Dossiers, Inspection Test Plans (ITP), and checklists.
Identify site-level flaws, provide Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), and keep an eye on the
application of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) as part of Non-Conformance Management.
Welding and Material Inspection: (If applicable) Manage Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) for pressure or structural components, such as radiography or ultrasonic testing.
Vendor and Subcontractor Audit: Conduct regular quality audits of on-site suppliers and subcontractors to make sure their work satisfies project specifications.
Required Skills:
Technical Interpretation: The capacity to read and comprehend technical data sheets, P&IDs, and engineering designs.
Standards Proficiency: Excellent familiarity with local manufacturing/construction regulations, ASME, ASTM, and ISO.
Analytical Tools: Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and the seven QC tools.
Communication: The capacity to communicate technical results to executive management and site personnel in an understandable manner.
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
