Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Execution: To guarantee 100% on-time delivery, convert sales projections into daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
Resource management: Make efficient use of labor, equipment, and raw resources to achieve output goals while reducing idle time.
Process Optimization: To reduce waste and enhance flow, apply Lean Manufacturing techniques like Kaizen, 5S, and VSM.
Key performance measures, such as OEE, rejection rates, and cost per unit, should be monitored and reported on.
Budget Control: Oversee the department's operating budget with an emphasis on lowering
production costs and raising worker productivity.
Supply Chain Coordination: To control inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking, collaborate closely with the procurement and warehouse departments.
Team Development: Assure a high degree of technical proficiency and motivation by leading, coaching, and training shift supervisors and operators.
Required Skills:
Leadership: Demonstrated capacity to oversee sizable groups and effectively settle disputes on the shop floor.
Technical Knowledge: Strong grasp of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and manufacturing processes (Machining, Assembly, Fabrication).
Proficiency in CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and root cause analysis (RCA) is necessary for problem solving.
Making Decisions: The capacity to make prompt, data-driven choices in the face of tight production deadlines.
Experience: 10 to 13 yrs
