Responsibilities:
Pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters should all be calibrated on a regular basis to guarantee process safety and accuracy.
Diagnose and fix issues with motors, switchgear, control panels, and variable frequency drives (VFDs) as part of electrical troubleshooting.
Loop testing involves checking the signal integrity from the field instruments to the Control Room (DCS/PLC) in an end-to-end loop.
PLC & SCADA Support: Help troubleshoot inputs and outputs of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and keep an eye out for process alarms on SCADA systems.
Valve Maintenance: The
upkeep and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic control valves and actuators, including positioner calibration.
To avoid unplanned downtime, perform the Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedule for transformers, MCC (Motor Control Center) panels, and analytical instruments.
Analyze intricate electrical wiring diagrams, P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), and Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
Required Skills:
Technical Mastery: Expertise with oscilloscopes, signal simulators, HART communicators, and multimeters.
Control Systems: Fundamental knowledge of logic controllers (Schneider, Siemens, or Allen Bradley).
Electrical Knowledge: thorough comprehension of industrial wiring standards, grounding systems, and three-phase power.
Paying close attention to details: Accurately documenting calibration data and keeping track of technical documents.
