Freshers Welcome Assembly Trainee Role
Job Description:
For those who are keen to begin a career in manufacturing and mechanical assembly, the Assembly Trainee is an entry-level role. Your main responsibility is to become proficient in and carry out the methodical joining of parts to produce final goods or subassemblies. You will adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical blueprints while working under the supervision of senior specialists to guarantee that each unit is constructed precisely. This position, which calls for a strong work ethic, manual dexterity, and a dedication to "First Time Right" quality, serves as a springboard for advancement into skilled assembly or production leadership.
Key Duties:
Learn how to assemble components using power tools, hand tools, and specialized fixtures in accordance with
assembly drawings.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Adherence: To ensure uniformity and quality, strictly adhere to SOPs and assembly checklists.
Quality Inspection: During the assembly process, look for flaws or missing parts using basic visual inspection and basic measuring instruments.
Material handling: Assemble and arrange components at the workstation so that the appropriate parts are on hand for every step of assembly.
Maintain a clean (5S) workstation and follow all shop floor safety regulations, including the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Line Support: Move completed goods to the testing or packing area and help senior assemblers load and unload assembly jigs.
