Job Description
Focus: Stress the fundamental abilities of creating and carrying out preventive maintenance plans, evaluating the operation of machinery, and reducing downtime in a Chennai industrial setting.
Experience: 0 to 2 yrs
What you’ll Do:
Operate various types of lathe machines (center lathe, engine lathe, etc.) to machine metallic and non-metallic workpieces according to precise specifications in our Chennai facility.
Accurately read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to understand machining requirements for components manufactured in Chennai.
Perform routine maintenance on lathe machines, including lubrication and minor adjustments, following the maintenance schedule of our Chennai facility.
/>Identify and report any machine malfunctions or tooling issues to the supervisor promptly, contributing to efficient production in our Chennai operations.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with the safety standards of our Chennai manufacturing site.
What you need:
Proficiency in using various types of lathe machines and understanding their operational principles.
Skill in selecting and setting up appropriate cutting tools and work holding devices.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments to check dimensions and ensure quality.
Good understanding of different machining operations and their applications.
