Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team in Chennai. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment within our Company. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety regulations, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
Follow the applicable Indian codes and specifications for installing and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and other electrical equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, then put effective repair solutions in place.
To guarantee operational effectiveness and avoid malfunctions, perform predictive
and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
When necessary, cooperate with engineers, contractors, and other maintenance staff.
Wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all safety instructions.
Skills:
strong familiarity with wiring, electrical systems, and troubleshooting methods.
the capacity to comprehend local codes and analyse and analyse electrical schematics and designs.
adept at using electrical testing tools, such as insulation testers and multimeters.
knowledge of electrical safety rules and practices.
Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE in ECE
Experience: 3+ yrs
