Exploit the International Standards as a QA Engineer
Job Description
Duties:
Oversight of the Quality Management System (QMS): Ensure that all procedures are in compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, or industry-specific requirements by maintaining and updating the QMS documentation.
APQP & PPAP Management: Oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) package submission to clients as well as the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process for new product launches.
FMEA & Risk Mitigation: To identify and reduce possible process risks, assist cross-functional teams in creating and maintaining Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA).
Internal and Supplier Audits: To guarantee compliance with defined SOPs and quality agreements, plan and carry out routine internal process audits as well as supplier quality
audits.
Root Cause Analysis & CAPA: Oversee the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system and take the lead in investigating significant quality escapes or customer complaints using 8D, 5-Why, or Fishbone approaches.
Focus Skills:
Standard Proficiency: In-depth familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 13485 (Medical), or ISO 9001 standards.
Core Tools Mastery: Proficient knowledge of the five core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA).
Analytical Software: The ability to analyze statistical data using Minitab, JMP, or sophisticated Excel.
Technical Writing: The capacity to write technical reports and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in an understandable and compliant manner.
