Job Description:
Setting, upholding, and enhancing the quality standards in an injection molding environment is the responsibility of the QMS (Quality Management System) Engineer. Your main task is to make sure that all manufacturing procedures follow particular client specifications and global standards. You will oversee internal audits, manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), serve as the custodian of the quality manual, and make sure that the high-precision requirements of injection molding are consistently met with zero defects.
Technical expertise in polymer processing and mold flaws is combined with a thorough awareness of quality frameworks to create the best candidate.
Key Skills:
Standard Expertise: Automotive suppliers would greatly benefit from having a thorough understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
Core Tools: Expertise in FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, and APQP.
Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of how injection molding parameters (temperature, pressure, and cycle time) affect the quality of the final product.
Tools for Analysis: Proficiency with Minitab or comparable statistical software for data analysis.
