Job Description
Duties:
Electrical System Maintenance: Diagnose and fix electrical devices such as variable frequency drives (VFDs), transformers, motors, and switchgear.
Instrument Calibration: To guarantee accurate process monitoring, calibrate, test, and maintain pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters.
Control System Support: Help troubleshoot Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) by locating errors in field wiring or I/O modules.
Loop Checking: To ensure that signals from the field accurately reach the control room, conduct end-to-end continuity and functional testing (loop checks).
Maintain and repair actuators, positioners, and control valves to provide precise and seamless mechanical
reactions to control inputs.
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Perform planned PMs and identify any faults before they happen by using predictive methods such as vibration analysis or thermal imaging.
Focus Skills:
Technical Versatility: Excellent practical knowledge of low-voltage instruments and three-phase electrical power.
Schematic Literacy: Outstanding comprehension of SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
Tool Proficiency: HART communicators, insulation testers (Megger), loop calibrators, and multimeters.
Solving problems: Capacity to track down intricate issues in integrated pneumatic and electrical systems.
