Engineer Tool Room Planning and Outage Reducing
Job Description

Education: Diploma/BE in Mech
Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
In addition to diagnosing, disassembling, and repairing complex tooling failures, identify the root causes of wear, breakage, and premature failure on the manufacturing floor or in the tool room.
Make engineering changes, upgrades, and alterations to existing tooling based on quality feedback, process improvements, or design revisions.
Use advanced
inspection equipment like CMM, optical comparators, height gauges, and micrometers to verify the dimensional accuracy of manufactured or repaired tool components.
Plan or execute the fundamental heat treatment processes required for tool steel components.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all tool maintenance history, modifications, dimensional inspection reports, and spare part usage in the CMMS or tool management system.
