Job Description:
Installing, maintaining, and fixing electronic systems and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting is the responsibility of an electronics technician, a qualified technical specialist. Working with circuit boards, sensors, controllers, and wiring is the main focus of this position. The ideal applicant is a careful troubleshooter who can utilize precise diagnostic tools and browse intricate technical manuals to guarantee that delicate electrical systems operate without interruption. Since the technician frequently handles delicate components that are essential to the automation and control of the plant, safety and accuracy are crucial.
Key Duties:
Installation & Assembly: In accordance with technical instructions and engineering specifications, set up and install electronic systems, parts, and accessories.
Troubleshooting
and Repair: Identify component-level issues with electronic devices; desolder and swap out damaged capacitors, resistors, integrated circuits (ICs), and sensors.
Testing and Calibration: To verify accuracy, use diagnostic tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to examine circuit performance.
PCB Maintenance: Make precise repairs and check printed circuit boards (PCBs) for flaws like burned parts, cold solder joints, or broken traces.
Preventive maintenance: To find any problems before they arise, conduct planned inspections on control panels, power supply, and communication interfaces.
Technical documentation: Read and understand intricate electrical schematics and logic diagrams; keep precise records of all repairs, calibrations, and component replacements.
