Electronics Engineer Building Smarter Answers from Circuit
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Circuit Design & Simulation: Create digital and analog circuit schematics and run SPICE simulations to verify power consumption, timing, and thermal behavior prior to prototyping.
PCB Layout & Design: Create multi-layer printed circuit boards (PCBs) while maximizing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and signal integrity (SI) to avoid interference.
Bench testing and prototyping: Put prototype boards together and utilize lab equipment to troubleshoot hardware problems and confirm performance in accordance with requirements.
Integration of Embedded Systems: Work with firmware engineers to combine peripheral communication (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN) with microcontrollers (ARM, AVR, PIC).
Component Selection: Locate and assess electronic components according to their lifespan availability, cost, and performance; keep the Bill of Materials (BOM) up to date.
Compliance & requirements: Verify that designs adhere to international
safety and regulatory requirements, especially those pertaining to EMI/EMC testing, such as CE, FCC, or UL.
Failure Analysis: Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for manufacturing flaws or field failures by identifying component stress using methods like cross-sectioning or thermal imaging.
Firmware Support: To verify hardware operation during the bring-up phase, write simple low-level C/C++ code for hardware abstraction layers (HAL).
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
Education: Diploma/BE in ECE
