Job Description
Who you are:
To guarantee error-free signal transmission, use master calibrators to test and adjust pressure, temperature, level, and flow transmitters. Identify and fix issues with switchgear, MCC panels, and VFDs, among other electrical power systems. Examine, repair, and perform a stroke test on motorized and pneumatic control valves as well as the positioners that go with them. Verify the logic and integrity of the signal by performing "Loop Checks" from the field instrument to the PLC/DCS. Check I/O status LEDs and measure signal voltages to help engineers solve automated logic. Verify that all E&I installations in "Zone" locations adhere to
explosion-proof regulations and preserve the integrity of cable glands and seals. Regularly test the insulation resistance of wires and the emergency shutdown systems' functionality.
