Full Description
E&I Technician Enhance with a Top Manufacturing Company
Job Description
The installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of both electrical power systems and complex process control instrumentation fall under the purview of the dual-skilled E&I Technician. This function is essential to the safe and effective operation of automated systems, sensors, and power distribution networks in industrial settings. The ideal applicant can switch between sensitive sensor and PLC-controlled loop calibration and heavy electrical operations, such as wiring motors and switchgear, with ease.
Responsibilities
Installing and fixing electrical equipment, such as motors, transformers, switchgear, VFDs (variable frequency drives), and lighting systems, is known as electrical maintenance.
Calibrate, test, and troubleshoot a variety of equipment, including temperature sensors, flow meters, pressure transmitters, and level controls.
Control Systems Support: Help troubleshoot the I/O modules and communication networks of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and DCSs (Distributed
Control Systems).
Preventative Maintenance: To avoid unscheduled downtime, conduct planned checks of safety instrumented systems (SIS) and electrical protection relays.
Blueprint Reading: Locate and correct errors by interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and loop drawings.
Safety Compliance: To guarantee a zero-incident workplace, follow Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) protocols and operate under NFPA 70E or local electrical safety requirements.
Skills:
Technical Versatility: Strong understanding of both AC/DC electrical circuits and the physics of process measurement.
Precision: High attention to detail required for fine-tuning instruments to within 0.1% accuracy.
Diagnostic Logic: Ability to use multi-meters, HART communicators, and oscilloscopes to trace complex faults.
Physical Agility: Capability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and handle heavy cabling.
We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
