Develop a future in Quality System as a QC Engineer
Job Description
Duties:
Process Inspection: Verify that components and assemblies meet engineering blueprints and GD&T specifications by conducting First-Off (FAIR), In-Process, and Final inspections.
Measurement and Metrology: For dimensional verification, operate and program precision tools like height gauges, micrometers, Vernier calipers, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
Statistical Analysis: To track process stability and spot patterns that can result in non-conformance, use Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools.
Non-Conformance Reporting (NCR): Find, record, and separate faulty products or materials; start the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) procedure for internal malfunctions.
Calibration Management: To preserve measurement traceability, make sure that every testing and measuring
apparatus is calibrated in accordance with the predetermined timetable.
Work Instructions & Checklists: Create and maintain quality checklists and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inspectors and production operators.
Focus Skills:
Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including those with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) symbols, is required for technical drawing.
Testing expertise: knowledge of industry-relevant destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques.
Software Proficiency: Able to use MS Excel for data visualization and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) for quality logging.
Precision Tools: Proficiency with both digital and manual measuring devices
