Your Duties:
Technical Drafting: Prepare comprehensive 2D orthographic drawings, sections, and assembly layouts using AutoCAD, ensuring all dimensions and tolerances are properly documented.
Design for Manufacturability: Examine and adjust designs to make sure they can be manufactured effectively with current equipment and materials.
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing: To convey functional requirements and guarantee that mating parts fit properly, use GD&T symbols and principles to drawings.
BOMGeneration: To help procurement and production planning teams find the right parts, create and oversee thorough Bills of Materials.
/>Prototype Support: Assist in the production of physical prototypes by supplying correct templates and drawings, then iterating designs based on testing findings.
Collaboration: Liaison between the design office and the shop floor to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges linked to design differences or material limits.
