Job Description
Responsibilities:
Create intricate 3D models and assembly of mechanical parts and products using SolidWorks CAD software for our Chennai manufacturing operations.
Using the applicable Indian standards (IS) and the specifications of our Chennai plant, create thorough 2D manufacturing drawings with precise dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
Using the document management system at our Chennai site, create and oversee SolidWorks part and assembly files, making sure they are properly organised and subject to revision control.
In our R&D or production environment in Chennai, help with the creation of prototypes and testing of new designs while offering technical assistance and modifying designs in response
to test results.
Create and deliver design concepts and technical documentation to Chennai's internal teams.
Skills:
strong grasp of the design for manufacturing (DFM), geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T), and mechanical engineering concepts that are pertinent to Chennai manufacturing.
accuracy in interpreting intricate technical drawings and standards.
familiarity with SolidWorks' design calculations and simulations.
knowledge of creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Experience: 1 to 6 yrs
Qualification: Diploma/BE in Mech
