Education: Diploma/BE in EEE
Location: In And Around Chennai
Your Duties:
Incoming Material Inspection: Before raw materials and outsourced components are put on the production line, check them against "Golden Samples" and Purchase Order (PO) standards.
In-Process Inspection: To identify flaws early, conduct routine "Line Audits" and "First-Off/Last-Off" inspections at different production stages.
Final Product Testing: For final functional testing, visual inspections, and packaging integrity, use 100% or AQL-based sampling.
Precision Metrology: Use and calibrate sophisticated measuring tools such as digital calipers, profile projectors, VMMs, and CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
Non-Conformance
Management: Determine whether an item should be reworked, scrapped, or returned to the vendor; identify, tag, and quarantine defective products; oversee the "Red Bin" examination.
Material Testing: To confirm material qualities, do specialist tests like hardness testing, tensile strength testing, or salt spray testing (for coating/plating).
