Job Description:
A strategic leadership position, the Quality Manager is in charge of the manufacturing plant's entire quality administration. Your main goal is to promote a "Total Quality Management" (TQM) culture in which quality is not merely an end-of-line check but is included into every stage of the process. As the Quality Management System's (QMS) custodian, you will make sure that it complies with both customer demands and international standards. The ideal applicant is a data-driven leader who can successfully manage the Cost of Quality to boost profitability while striking a balance between the demands of production deadlines and the unwavering requirement for product perfection.
Key Duties:
QMS Strategy & Compliance: Take the lead in developing, implementing, and maintaining the QMS. Serve as the main point of contact
for all external and client audits.
Quality Assurance & Control: Manage the QA (process-oriented) and QC (product-oriented) divisions, making sure that the facility has strong testing procedures and inspection plans in place.
Cost of Quality (COQ) Management: Monitor and evaluate the financial effects of quality with an emphasis on lowering "Cost of Poor Quality" (COPQ), which includes warranty claims, rework, and scrap.
Customer Relationship Management: Oversee the execution of long-term corrective measures and handle customer quality problems, guaranteeing prompt replies through 8D reports.
Continuous Improvement: To lower process variation and improve product reliability, integrate Lean and Six Sigma techniques throughout the plant.
