Job Description
Who you are:
Carry out daily production plans for stamped parts while making sure that the best possible use of machinery and personnel is allocated. Track and enhance "Strokes Per Minute" (SPM) while preserving component quality and cutting down on "scrap and rework" rates. Oversee the "First-Piece Approval" procedure during batch changes; plan the installation and configuration of progressive, compound, and draw dies. Identify and get rid of frequent pressing faults including wrinkles, burrs, cracks, and "spring-back" problems. To avoid catastrophic tool or machine failure, make sure that press brakes and power presses are reliable. Keep an eye on tonnage monitors
and lubrication systems. Strict safety procedures, such as "No-Finger-in-Die" rules, light curtain operation, and the requirement to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), should be enforced.
